Despite the Chill wind from the North and snow on the hills a few brave souls enjoyed fantastic sailing conditions.
We had 4 boats come to the line on Saturday with Eric and Paul giving the Swift 18 a blast, they were seen with the lee rail under water so were certainly trying.
Sunday dawned with white horses across the lake but by the time we had all had warm drinks and wrapped up it was just a fresh breeze!!!. Just Three dinghies but it was some of the closest racing of the year with the final positions not decided till the last race. Well done to all and especially the Safety crew who endured the icy blast. Keith
