2016 Season gets under way with Easter Cup.

Despite the wall to wall Whitehorses on Sunday and snow drifting by Monday morning a few braved the elements to contest the Easter Cup.

After a short postponement to assess the conditions Race 1 was completed with Ewan Roberts coming out on top on Handicap by a small margin from Steff Feely and in third Will Dartnell.

Conditions were almost benign after lunch and Races 2 & 3 were held back to back as the wind was still bitterly cold.

Ewan Roberts added another two firsts to seal his victory but we had to include the discards and take into account positions in the last race to split Steff and William with Steff gaining second due to his better result in the last race.  This season looks to be very competitive with any number of Sailors vyeing for honours.
