Clywedog Sailing Club welcomes visitors to the club with their own craft. The club is open on Sundays, April to October, 10.30am – 4pm. Day sailing permits the use of club facilities and launching/recovery. The clubhouse is fully equipped, all you need is your food. There is also a barbecue available.

Insurance requirements: All boats and craft used on the lake must have at least £5 million 3rd party insurance cover. This can be achieved as follows:-
For dinghies, windsurfers and cruisers, you must provide evidence of appropriate insurance specific to your boat.
For canoes and kayaks, you must provide evidence of on-the-water membership of either Paddle UK or Paddle Cymru.
For stand up paddleboards, you must provide evidence of on-the water membership of any of the following: Paddle UK, Paddle Cymru, BSUPA, RYA.

- Buoyancy Aids MUST be worn by all – sailors, canoeists, kayakers and paddle boarders. Also when on the jetty.
